Haruka Yamamoto (Japan)


Haruka Yamamoto is a Tokyo-born freelance photographer who primarily takes photos for magazines and books. She is also involved in the planning and editing of the film photography magazine “snap!”. In addition to her magazine and book work, she takes still photos of music events and looks created by fashion brands. In April 2014, she began “Otomegraphy” (Japanese for “Girl-ography”), a portrait series on her blog that features various female models. The series focuses on helping young women to feel more secure about their physical appearance and the effects of aging that will occur later. She held an exhibit called “INTERART7” at the Taiwan Photo Fair in September 2014 and a solo exhibition at Site Aoyama in April 2015....More
