Are the printer drivers for the instax Link WIDE™ (the predecessor to the instax Link WIDE 2™) and the instax Link WIDE 2™ the same?
No, they're not the same (and if you use the wrong one it simply won't connect).
Please use the dedicated printer driver that matches your model number.
The connection between the instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ and my computer is unstable.
Check the following:
・ Your instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ printer battery is charged.
・ Your instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ printer power is on.
・ Bluetooth® is enabled on your computer.
・ Your printer is not connected to a smartphone.
How many computers can be paired with instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ at the same time?
It can be paired with 1 computer. Once printing is complete, the computer is disconnected and you can connect another device.
How do I update the firmware for my instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™?
Update via the official smartphone app. Follow the procedure below.
1. Launch the instax Link WIDE™ app and tap the settings icon on the upper right.
2. Once you are on the settings menu screen, tap “Check Version Updates for Printer.”
Make sure your printer is connected when you perform this step.
3. If a new firmware update is available, follow the instructions on your screen to update.
Are Link printers other than instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ compatible?
No. Only instax Link WIDE™ / instax Link WIDE 2™ are compatible.
How do I change printer settings?
Change settings via the official smartphone app.
Are dedicated smartphone app features such as Photo Mixer™, QR Print Mode, Editable Template Print, Collage Print supported?
Enjoy these features via the official smartphone app.
Can I connect my computer via Wi-Fi or USB?
No. Only Bluetooth® connection is supported. Connect to your PC via Bluetooth®.
The "Print Preview" displays on the "Printer Driver" differs from the image shown on the "Print Setting" on the PC application. Which is the correct print area that will actually be printed?
"Print Preview" on the "Printer Driver" will display actual print area. Confirm the print area and click "OK" button. Please note that click "Cancel" button in the dialogue box and adjust the print area on the PC application if the area you want to print is not included in the "Print Preview".
When connecting to Bluetooth, pop-up windows were shown twice.
If pop-up windows appear twice, select “pair” on both windows.
When I give a print command, nothing comes out of the printer. (An error message appears.)
Check the following:
・ A timeout error may occur depending on your PC environment.
・ Change the "Print Speed" setting in the printer driver's "Print Settings" to "Normal" or "Slow", and then try printing again.
・ If an error still occurs when "Slow" is selected, try printing again. (The default setting is "High Speed".)
When I enabled WPP* on Windows 11 Home/Pro while a printer driver was already installed, the printer driver was removed. *Windows Protected Print Mode (hereinafter referred to as WPP)
WPP has been added as a new feature starting with OS version “24H2” of Windows 11 Home/Pro. It is disabled by default, but if you enable WPP while a printer driver is already installed, the printer driver will be removed. If you want to use the printer driver again, please reinstall it by following the steps below.

① Disable WPP
Go to Start (Windows icon) → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → Set “Windows Protected Print Mode” to “Off.”
* If the icon for the printer you want to use still appears on the Start (Windows icon) → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Devices → Devices → Printers & Scanners screen, please remove the printer.
